WWE Battleground 2016 has never been more important to Seth Rollins, who will be brawling with his former Shield teammates for the World Heavyweight Championship belt at the pay-per-view event.

As per Bleacher Report, Rollins is put in the shade by his opponents Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns, which means that more people would root for the other two than him.

The publication also believes that while Ambrose will likely keep the World Heavyweight Championship belt by the end of WWE Battleground.

With Rollins determined to get that title back, this could set off a rivalry between him and The Lunatic that could be ultimately settled at the WWE SummerSlam.

However, this will all be make-believe if WWE brings Reigns back in and has him snag the title in WWE Battleground, something that Bleacher Report believes the company should not go for.

The site believes that with Reigns, who is being groomed by WWE as its next big thing after John Cena, winning it all, Rollins will be in danger of losing his main-eventer status.

That being said, there's a lot riding on the triple threat match in WWE Battleground for Rollins. It remains to be seen how it will pan out or if Reigns will be back to steal the show and the belt.

Reigns was suspended for 30 days due to a violation of the WWE Wellness Policy. However, he will be back three days before WWE Battleground and it is believed he is still booked for the match and some say he'll emerge victorious.

Apart from the Ambrose-Rollins-Reigns triple threat match, WWE Battleground is expected to host a battle between The New Day and The Wyatt Family and a John Cena-AJ Styles rematch.

The feud of the latter two, which began in last month's Money in the Bank, is expected to stretch through WWE SummerSlam.

WWE Battleground takes place Juy 24 at Verizon Center.
