Sting (Steve Borden) was one of the unfortunate stars who came out of WWE Night of Champions barely able to stand, and many were pretty much concerned about the actual state of the former World Championship Wrestling (WCW) talent.

To recall, Sting was obviously bothered and hurt somewhere in his match with Seth Rollins for the WWE heavyweight title, but the Vigilante was able to grant an interview to WWE.com to bare the real score.

Previous reports speculated that his injury might have been sustained when he was inadvertently pushed at one of the WWE announcers table by Rollins when he was going for a move on the main table. During the said incident, Sting landed awkwardly and seemed to have hit his head on one of the TV monitors.

But as it turns out, the pain started to set in after a powerbomb move by Rollins on the ring turnbuckle. It was in this part where Sting says that he felt numbness and a tingling sensation, which pretty much showed when his feet almost gave up on him.

"I just fell wrong, whatever it was, and this time [the tingling and numbness] went down both arms and into my legs, and I couldn't feel my legs too well. They just felt like rubber. I don't know how to describe it. I had to go down on all fours there for a minute, get my composure. I was a little … I was worried," says Sting via WWE.com

Overall, the Vigilante says that aside from that, the match was pretty much the same as any ordinary wrestling match. He felt the soreness all over but admits that he remains under close monitor, especially his spine.

Right now, Sting has no idea if he would be back in the ring and says all that will be a 'wait-and-see.'

On whether or not it would be his last match, Sting prefers not to talk about it since it is something that he hates being asked about, similar to how other wrestlers feel about the question.

But as Sting shared, the attending doctors told his wife, "He's going to have to get this dealt with. He's lucky he walked out of there."
