The Undertaker may have found the perfect opponent for what might be the last in-ring appearance of his career.

According to reports, 16-time World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) champion John Cena is currently the front runner to face "The Phenom" at Wrestlemania 34. It will also be a significant event for Cena because this year will mark his 17th straight appearance in the pay per view.

The WWE universe believed that last year's crushing loss to Roman Reigns was the signal for the end of Undertaker's career, as the wrestler laid down his gear in symbolic fashion in front of the visibly upset Florida crowd, leading many to believe that he was ready to call it quits.

As it turns out, the taker still has enough for one final match and he would want to make it the best one in his entire career. The Undertaker, known as Mark Callaway in real life, is scheduled to appear in "Monday Night Raw's" 25th anniversary special where many believe is where the start of the buildup for his final match will take place.

The two wrestling greats are no strangers to each other. Cena picked a fight with the undertaker early on in his career and both were under different gimmicks at the time, with Cena going around as "The Doctor of Thuganomics" and Undertaker adopting a less undead version of his character.

Both wrestlers then went on their separate paths towards greatness, with The Undertaker solidifying his status as an all-time great, and Cena going on to become the face of the entire company.

Many years after their rivalry, the two wrestlers find themselves crossing each other's paths once again. The Undertaker, who will be 53-years-old by Wrestlemania, will most probably come as the heavy favorite, especially if this is going to be his final match.

Cena, although the younger of the two, is no spring chicken at 40, but fans can expect that these two proud warriors will give it their all, and provide The Undertaker with the grand finale that he very much deserves.
