Rumor has it that World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) champion Roman Reigns is dropping his Intercontinental title prior to WrestleMania.

On a recent discussion at the Wrestling Observer Radio, veteran observer Dave Meltzer predicted that Reigns will lose the championship before WrestleMania 34 in April.

This after Samoa Joe attacked Reigns following his match with Elias at the Monday Night Raw. Meltzer now believes that Joe will take off the highly coveted belt from Reigns, possibly at the Royal Rumble slated for Jan. 28 at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.

If this happens, Meltzer assures fans that the Reigns versus Brock Lesnar battle will still happen at the WrestleMania 34 for the WWE Universal Championship. Reigns is just probably competing without his title.

Speaking of the Royal Rumble, the influx of women seen at this week's Monday Night Raw is having fans believe that there will be a historic female Royal Rumble come January.

Last Monday saw the return of NXT Women's Champion Paige at the Raw, following almost a year of recovering from injuries. Her return was made more buzzworthy as she came with two other NXT members -- Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville -- forming the newest heel faction in WWE.

After the Monday Night Raw, the NXT invasion continued on Smackdown, with the arrival of Ruby Riot, Liv Morgan, and Sarah Logan, who battled with Naomi and Becky Lynch. That makes it a total of 11 active female talents on WWE's RAW roster and 10 on SmackDown -- reportedly enough to start a women's Royal Rumble.

In the other spectrum of WWE, Cage Side Seats believes "205 Live" is either getting a change in format or timeslot, after the mother company released a survey to fans, asking for their feedback on the live series that features only participants who weigh 205 pounds or less. Whatever the results of the survey, no change in network lineup is expected until 2018.
