WWE rumors 2015: Money in the Bank privilege overshadowed?

With the injury to Seth Rollins, don't expect any cash-in coming anytime soon for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Money in the Bank winner Sheamus, not until there is a new WWE heavyweight champion in place.

Apparently, from now until Survivor Series, the Celtic Warrior doesn't have the opportunity to cash in, seeing that Rollins is out and the WWE has yet to recognize a champion. The Architect has been pegged out of WWE action for the next six to nine months after suffering anterior cruciate ligament (ACL), medial collateral ligament (MCL), and meniscus injuries. This means that a new WWE champion will only be announced by Nov. 22 at the Survivor Series.

It remains to be seen what the WWE has in store for the WWE heavyweight title. For now, only Roman Reigns seem to be certain of appearing. It has yet to be confirmed whether the setto will be a one-on-one match or something that would involve multiple names (Triple Threat or Fatal Four Way).

Clearly, the WWE creative team may have already something in mind and much of that may take shape at the WWE shows.

In whichever case, it may be wise not to discount a cash-in at WWE Survivor Series just yet. It may be a fresh start but that doesn't exclude it from a possible chance for Sheamus to cash-in, although it would depend on how grueling the new champion will be coming from.

If it involves multiple men, the Celtic Warrior could strike. Such has been the trend thus far.

One can only recount how Rollins did the trick when he stole the thunder from under Reigns and Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania 31 and no matter how powerful Sheamus is, opportunity knocks at any time.

The scenario may not be neat and the new champ could see his title-reign cut short. The only thing certain for now is Sheamus holds on to the briefcase, at least until WWE Survivor Series which takes place in two weeks.
