WWE rumors, news 2016: Eric Bischoff would love to return to the scene

With WWE needing more superstars than ever as the company prepares for the brand split, more names are being thrown around, including that of Eric Bischoff.

In the latest episode of "The Ross Report," the former WWE general manager revealed to host and WWE commentator Jim Ross what he misses about wrestling and what he does not.

He said that travelling almost everyday for WWE is not at all something he wants to come back to as well as the pressure of working for a big company "run by idiots."

"But there are so many things that I miss about it. I miss the creative process and not being in charge. I don't miss being in charge either, but I miss being involved in the creative process a lot," Bischoff admitted (via Wrestling Inc).

He added that he misses working with both young and established talent and directing the former and guiding them into becoming huge stars with the use of his talent in the microphone.

"I miss it tremendously. I mean, if WWE called me tomorrow and said, 'get on a plane tomorrow by noon and show up somewhere,' I wouldn't even ask them what I'm doing. I would be happy to do it," Bischoff said.

"And I'm really careful about saying 'if the deal is right' because there's an implication with that. There's an implication that I'm sitting somewhere on a mountaintop and I'm only willing to do something if the conditions are absolutely perfect," he went on to explain.

It remains to be seen if he was approached by WWE to actually return. Now that SmackDown and Raw are in need of general managers, Bischoff could very well take on one of the jobs.

While Bischoff's WWE return is not set in stone yet, Bischoff made it clear that he would be back in the industry in the name of "passion and opportunity."
