WWE rumors 2016: Zeb Colter no longer in the cards

Zeb Colter may not be among the key names when one thinks about the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) ring action, but he does add a bit of spice depending on who he is partnered with.

Colter made his appearance at WWE Night of Champions, surprisingly by the side of a returning Alberto Del Rio. Together, the tandem seemed to spark something curious but, apparently, all plans the WWE creative team had were thumbed down.

Apparently, the duo was being primed for a supposed MexAmerica storyline which didn't really draw any interest.

For a time, it seemed that it would be another U.S. vs. the world storyline which would have been neat if it were John Cena on the other side. But with the WWE star on leave and the reason why the title was transferred to Del Rio, the only wrestler plausible to carry on the U.S. colors was seldom shown Jack Swagger.

Swagger is, apparently, not among the big names in the WWE so the storyline would further dip. So with that in jeopardy, it seems imminent that Colter would be eased out of the equation as well.

Colter would vanish out of the limelight and just like that, Del Rio was out competing on his own and now under the tutelage of the "League of Nations."

According to the Wrestlezone, Colter is good as gone for now. There are no storylines involving him right now, so don't expect to see him anytime soon.

Colter is one of the middle card managers who has handled Swagger and Cesaro in the past. While he does a decent job behind the microphone, the fact remains there is no one in the WWE locker right now who needs managing (or in this case, an alliance).
