With John Cena set to make his return to the WWE in time for the 25th anniversary of "Monday Night Raw," the latest rumors suggest that the 13-time WWE Champion will be moving back to the "SmackDown Live" brand after the 2018 WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view event in February, heading into WrestleMania 34.

After confirming his entrance to the 2018 Royal Rumble match via Twitter, Cena has reportedly been scheduled to appear in every edition of "Monday Night Raw" prior to the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view event next month. With his speculated match against The Undertaker at WrestleMania 34, the prevailing assumption is that their rivalry will be featured throughout "Monday Night Raw" until the showcase of the immortals. However, Cena has not been scheduled for any WWE event in March aside from WWE Fastlane, a "SmackDown Live" pay-per-view event.

There is also the possiblity of a match between Cena and The Undertaker taking place on "SmackDown Live." Taker appeared backstage on one of the most recent editions of the show, and both him and Cena have a rich history with the brand.

However, according to  According to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the WWE is planning something big for Cena which led to speculations that he will be facing Kevin Owens for the WWE Title at WrestleMania 34, with the storyline being that Cena would be trying to break Ric Flair's recognized record of 16 World title reigns.

Nonetheless, it is expected that Cena next feud will be announced when he returns to the WWE on the 25th anniversary of "Monday Night Raw." If he's moves to "SmackDown Live" before April, his match for WrestleMania 34 might not be disclosed until his appearance at WWE FastLane. This means that fans will have to deal with another two months of speculation. Regardless of what the WWE has planned, Cena's match is expected to be special this year.
