Cesaro is obviously being pushed right now by the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) while Kevin Owens has been dragged down from the main eventer card. Their upcoming clash at WWE SummerSlam is expected to be overshadowed by other matchups but don't be surprised if you see this feud taking it up a notch even after WWE SummerSlam.

Cesaro has been forced to continue his WWE career all by his lonesome. This was after his tag team partner Tyson Kidd went down with a career-threatening injury. Cesaro and Kidd reigned as WWE tag team champions for a time but now, the agile wrestler will have to go solo.

From the past weeks, his push was evident. He has suddenly turned into a face wrestler and is slowly creeping in as a fan favorite. And with all that in mind, such makes him a perfect adversary for Kevin Owens who himself needs to get back on track.

After a disappointing last match against John Cena, Owens saw his climb to the WWE ranks stop dead on its tracks. He was relegated to mid-card wrestler and finds himself jousting with Cesaro and for a time, Rusev.

Owens, a former WWE NXT champion, was believed to be on his way back to his old show but it seems that the WWE sees something promising in the brash Canadian that has kept him in the regular roster, somehow.

Their set duel at WWE SummerSlam may not be the highlight for that evening, but fact remains that it can turn out to be something epic. The feud is expected to heat up and everyone knows how Owens can do just that. He has done it against Cena and can expectedly do the same against Cesaro.

Owens and Cesaro get it on this coming Sunday at WWE SummerSlam at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The WWE pay-per-view (PPV) will be aired live by the WWE Network starting at 7 p.m. EST and 4 p.m. PST.
