After posting a victory in his return to the UFC against Samoan MMA fighter Mark Hunt in UFC 200, superstar Brock Lesnar, who is being groomed to appear in WWE's biggest event of the season, Summerslam, hit a snag when he tested positive of an unnamed substance from samples taken from the athlete on June 28 and July 9.

While this may affect his future return to the Octagon, the official decision of the United States Anti Doping Agency is not expected to affect his status in the wrestling organization.

However, since SummerSlam is supervised by the New York Athletic Commission, which is the commission may see it fit to penalize the WWE should it allow Lesnar to fight against Randy Orton in the event, reported Chat Sports Net.

For his part, wrestling superstar John Cena has expressed his support for Brock with his predicament.

"Well, there was certainly a lot of hype. I was actually on SportsCenter hyping that fight myself. My thoughts were in Brock Lesnar's corner, as he was put as the underdog in that fight, and he ended up doing well. Anytime something like that comes out, it certainly affects your perception of the event. There's no way people aren't going to perceive Brock Lesnar differently, and when something like this happens, you set yourself a long, hard road ahead of you, and Brock's got a long, hard road ahead of him," he said.

According to Sherdog, the substance that was found in Brock's system was clomiphene, which was the same substance found in Jon Jones resulting in the former UFC champ's suspension.

The substance is an estrogen blocker that reportedly masks steroid use and promotes natural testosterone production.

Meanwhile, following the recent WWE drafts, it is rumored that not being drafted may prove to be a blessing in disguise for Health Slater as a storyline is currently being developed about him becoming a free agent, reported Wrestling Rumors.

This also means that because of his status, he may freely appear in either Raw or Smackdown giving him more exposure and opportunities for big fights.
