Xbox Live Gold members are getting excited as the end of the month approaches. Fans are eagerly waiting for Microsoft to announce the blockbuster games it promised a few weeks ago for its Games with Gold program for the upcoming month.

Microsoft tweeted in mid-March that Xbox Live Gold members will experience blockbuster games for the month of April after announcing "Lords of the Fallen," "Sherlock Homes: Crimes & Punishments," and "Borderlands." "Lords of the Fallen" will be available until April 15 while the other two games will be available until the end of March.

A few of the anticipated games that may be included in the premium program this April are "The Wolf Among Us, "Titanfall," "Ryse: Son of Rome," "Need for Speed: Rivals," "Zoo Tycoon," "Forza 5," "Battlefield 4," and "Dead Rising 3."

Meanwhile, Microsoft has started its spring season and Major Nelson has just announced the Spring Sale. The Spring Sale is offering 40 to 60 percent off on more than 150 games while Xbox Live Gold members can enjoy an additional 10 percent discount on several games. Plus, Xbox One and Xbox 360 owners who are not yet members of Xbox Live Gold can upgrade their account and be charged for only US$1 for the first month of membership. 

The Spring Sale will run from March 22 until March 28. Xbox One console bundles are also being offered for a special starting price of US$299. These include the recently released Xbox One "Tom Clancy's The Division" bundle, which has one of the hottest games right now; the Xbox One 500GB Name Your Game Bundle, which will come with one game of choice among "Forza Motorsport 6," "Rise of the Tomb Raider," "Gears of War: Ultimate Edition," and "Rare Replay"; and lastly, the Xbox One Special Edition "Quantum Break" bundle, which comes with the full "Quantum Break" game and the Xbox 360 version of "Alan Wake" playable on Xbox One. 

All bundles will also come with a 14-day Xbox Live Gold trial.
