"Halo Wars," "Soul Caliber II" and "The King of Fighters '98" are now available for the Xbox One Backward Compatibility feature. This gives additional fun and excitement as these Xbox 360 games can now be played on the Xbox One.

Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb, program director of Xbox Live, made the announcement on Twitter last March 29. But that is not all; after a few hours, Major Nelson announced that "Left 4 Dead 2" has also joined the growing list.

"Halo Wars," published by Microsoft, was released in March 2009; "Soul Caliber II" was released by Bandai Namco back in July 2002; "The King of Fighters '98" is by SNK, released in 1998; and lastly, "Left 4 Dead 2" by Valve was released in November of 2009.

The Xbox One Backward Compatibility list has grown by 12 games for the month of March alone. "Alan Wake," "Castlevania: Symphony of the Night" and "PAC-MAN" were added on the 17th. "Assassin's Creed," "Dark Void," and "GRID 2" made it to the list on the 21st. On the 23rd, "Dark Souls" and "Tekken Tag Tournament 2" were added. As of today, there are close to 150 Xbox 360 titles available for the Xbox One.

Xbox One players who have not seen their favorite 360 games yet need to have a little more patience. GameSpot reported that Microsoft is still discussing things with major game publishers and developers so that additional games can be added.

In Xbox related news, Major Nelson also announced games and add-ons that will be included in Deals with Gold. These include "Evolve," "So Many Me," and "WWE 2K16." The said games will be available on the Xbox Games Store and are also being offered with great discounts for non-Gold members. The offer will be valid until April 4.
