Xbox has just announced new titles for its backwards compatibility feature for the Xbox One. Meanwhile, it is confirmed that another Xbox 360 classic, "Blue Dragon," will join the list soon.

Answering a fan's question, Xbox head Phil Spencer stated that the Xbox 360 classic RPG "Blue Dragon" is confirmed for the backwards compatibility program for the Xbox One. However, there is no specified date on when can fans expect the title to be added.

"Blue Dragon" is a classic title for the Xbox 360. Released in 2007, the JRPG features a turn-based gameplay popular to the genre at the time. However, developer Mistwalker added twist in the design, since players can attack enemies even before their turn comes up. In addition, the game also featured the idea of a "charged up" spell attack, where the damage depends on how long it took the spell to charge.

Meanwhile, aside from "Blue Dragon," Xbox and Microsoft continue to add new games to the backwards compatibility list. Just recently, it is confirmed that three new titles are added to the games list. The new games include "Mr. DRILLER Online" and "New RALLY X" from publisher Bandai Namco, as well as "NIN2-JUMP" from Cave. The three new titles are among the classic games for the previous-gen Xbox console, as the two titles from Bandai Namco were released in 2006 and 2008. "NIN2-JUMP," on the other hand, was released in 2011.

The three new titles join the mix of triple-A and regular classic games for the Xbox One backwards compatibility program. Already numbering well into 200 games and counting, other titles already on program's game library include the original "Red Dead Redemption" and games under the "Call of Duty" series. Meanwhile, fans are looking forward to more major classics such as "Alan Wake," the games from "Bioshock" franchise, and reportedly, "Gears of Wars 3."
