With the upcoming Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) on June 14, 2016, a lot of fans are waiting for Microsoft to finally reveal its newest Xbox product: the Xbox One Slim.

The reason for this is that Microsoft planned to reveal all their newest hardware this June, and according to an article by Thurrott, one of the more definite devices includes a new standard controller similar to that in the current Xbox One.

This, coupled with the leak last February, leads many fans speculate that the announcement may very well include the unraveling of the Xbox One II--now known as the Xbox One Slim. Add that to the fact that E3 has always been used by developers and manufacturers as a means of revealing their latest games or products, the speculation gains more legitimacy.

According to an article written by the Shack News, they believe that Xbox One Slim is more likely, since Xbox One is still in the middle of its lifespan as a console generation. So it would make more sense to release a smaller, more portable version rather than risking a totally new one.

In the same report, a picture was shown about a leaked document that may or may not ascertain the weight of the Xbox One Slim, which claims it to be somewhere between 600 to 800 grams, making it a little less than 2 pounds. Comparing it to the current weight of the Xbox One (7 pounds), this could mean a lot for people with portability issues.

In any case, Microsoft did confirm that it's expanding its interaction options between the PC and Xbox One, which aims to further the pre-existing capabilities present between the two, such as game streaming. With this, the company's end goal is to leverage this system and create a more unique gaming experience for players regardless of which platform they might have.
