Monolith Soft released new screenshots for "Xenoblade Chronicles 2" as the game developer continues to trickle down assets and information about the upcoming game.

The latest update on Twitter gives players a peek into the airship Argentum Trade Guild, one of the factions in the game. The guild's name is a western localization of the original Avaritia Company, a play on words for the Latin term for greed. The giant airship contains a number of shops and is held up by a blimp balloon-like Titan.

Another screenshot introduces the Argentum Trade Guild boss and president, Bana, whose build is twice as large as a tiger. With his flair for business, he is every merchant's role model. He is voiced by Akio Otsuka, the same man who lends his voice to Solid Snake of "Metal Gear."

Monolith Soft knows just the right way to keep "Xenoblade Chronicles" fans wanting more.

It previously released three images featuring sunset, night and the blade of Guura. The rare weapon, called Tokiha, is a three-bladed spear.

"Xenoblade Chronicles 2" follows the adventures of a scavenger named Rex. She and her living Blade, Pyra, are on the search to find her home, a fabled paradise. Players will have to command a group of Blades to save the world from giant beasts.

The game features various Titans — each with its own distinct cultures, wildlife and diverse regions — with vast open areas and labyrinthine corridors as well as secret paths that lead to either treasures or creatures to battle and index.

These exploits will lead players to various eclectic characters, which include the weaponized life forms called Blades. Players must collect these allies to increase their power and utilize their special skills to defeat enemies.

"Xenoblade Chronicles 2" will be exclusively available for Nintendo Switch starting Dec. 1. A Collector's Edition, which includes a boxed copy of the game, a collector's steelbook case, a soundtrack CD and a 200-page premium hardbound artbook, is now available for pre-order for $99.99.
