According to rumors, Xiaomi will be unveiling its next flagship next month. Leaks showing the new Mi Note 2 have started appearing online, and one of the purported features of the new flagship is a dual-curved display variant.

GSM Arena has come across an uploaded image supposedly leaking the front panel glass for the Xiaomi Mi Note 2. Although the image did not directly confirm the iteration, the industry follower believes that the "Mi" tag on the upper part of the glass panel denotes a flagship iteration, so the other iteration release – the Redmi 4 – can already be ruled out.

If the glass panel is indeed for the Mi Note 2, then the rumors of Xiaomi releasing a full lineup for the new flagship are most likely spot on. According to speculations, the China-based tech maker is looking to expand the next Mi Note into a full lineup, with both standard and edged display versions. In addition, it looks like the dual-edge display version will be the most premium of the lineup, since it is also said that Xiaomi will be featuring only full HD resolution for the standard, flat display, while the dual-edge version will get a Quad HD screen.

Meanwhile, aside from a different display, it is said that the specs for the full lineup will also vary depending on the version. The base model is supposed to get a 4GB RAM configuration, while the premium variant may get a 6GB one. Having 6GB on a premium version is likely, since other tech makers – like Asus with the ZenFone 3 Deluxe and the rumored special edition of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 – have already released 6-GB flagship iterations.

Other purported specs for the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 include the Snapdragon 821 chipset, a fingerprint scanner and different storage options.
