Even after announcing its innovative flagship handset Nubia Z9, which is powered by a Snapdragon 810 SoC, Chinese smartphone firm ZTE is not yet done catering to all smartphone markets. The company will now be targeting the entry-level market with a device called Q519T, which features a very affordable price tag of $95 and is armed with an unbelievable 4,000 mAh battery. According to Phone Arena, the device will be able to provide up to 35 days of standby battery time.

Since the smartphone belongs to the entry-level market, ZTE was forced to make some trade-offs in the performance department. For starters, Q519T features a MediaTek MT6735 SoC, which is running a quad-core processor with a clock speed of 1 GHz, 1 GB of RAM, and a Mali-T720 GPU, which is only running a single GPU core. Additionally, there is only 8 GB of internal memory incorporated in the device, but a MicroSD card slot will make sure that future smartphone users can upgrade their existing storage up to 32 GB.

The price tag also forced the company to make use of an inferior rear and front camera sensor, which is why users will run out of luck when attempting to capture high resolution images from the 5 MP/2 MP camera sensor combination. However, one surprising component present inside Q519T happens to be an LTE modem, which is very rare to be seen in a device carrying a sub-$100 price tag. Furthermore, there is also enough space underneath the rear side to hold up to two SIMs, an 802.11 n adapter, and Bluetooth 4.0 module.

ZTE Q519T will be available to purchase in three colors (blue, gold and white), and it is highly unlikely that the smartphone will make its way to developed regions, where consumers display a strong affinity for purchasing expensive flagship devices. Instead, Q519T will be distributed across China first, then be branched out to the emerging markets and some part of the developed regions later.
