The Nintendo Direct Mini announcement uploaded Jan. 11, 2018 was full of great titles to satisfy every Nintendo fan craving. Among the games announced was the "Definitive Edition" of "Hyrule Warriors."

Gameplay-wise, the game can be described as "Dynasty Warriors" with a Hyrule twist.

Players who love the hack and slash fun of the classic Warriors game will love "Hyrule Warriors." It is definitely worth a try if players want to experience the fast-paced action of "Dynasty Warriors" combined with the characters from "The Legend of Zelda" series of games.

The "Definitive Edition" will contain all original content from both the Wii U and Nintendo DS versions of the game, as well as all the released downloadable content. The re-release also comes with improved visuals and support for higher display resolutions.

Along with the original content, "Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition" will also feature additions exclusive to the Nintendo Switch release. This will include unique maps, missions, and new weapons and characters to unlock during the course of gameplay.

What's more, "Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition" will feature characters from the latest Zelda masterpiece, "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild."

One of the advantages of the game's release on the Nintendo Switch is its mobility.

Players who owned the Nintendo DS version may have experienced portable "Hyrule Warriors" gaming, but those who owned the Wii U version may have not. Now, with the Switch version, players on the go can enter the action-packed world and play as Link, Zelda, Midna, Sheik, Skull Kid, and more.

The Nintendo Direct Mini is a feature that announced upcoming games for the current generation Nintendo console. Along with "Hyrule Warriors," many other titles are announced including Japanese role-playing game "Ys VIII," the "SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy" fighting game, and "The World Ends With You Final Remix" remake.
